got myself some astra vents to fit

im ok with the cutting but what about the fitting underneath

the top side closest to the window will be fine as they will slide on the bonnet once cut but what about the bottom

could i tack weld a thin piece of metal and attach it using the bits that stick out the bottom which must be to clip on the astra bonnet

Mk2 Astra GTE vents, for future reference.

I think they sat on a lipped section of the bonnet so you might need to try and source a scrap GTE bonnet, cut out the surrounding metal and graft the holes into your bonnet for most professional/proper fitting :thumb:

the underside has 2 clips that stick out which im sure ill be able to figure something out using them
