evening all,
right ive got a camshaft here for an 8valve 1.2- 1.6
its a dbilas cam and i cant work out what sort of power gains (when applied to a 1.6) it will give.
im guessing it would require a change on the inlet side of the engine- throttle bodies, carbs, or other.

heres the specs given with the cam-

camshaft code- 206
duration- 280/ 276 degrees
peak timing- 107 degrees
valve lift- 12.0/ 11.2 mm
lift at tdc- 1.5
valve timing- 33/67-65/31
clearance between valves and piston at tdc- 2.0mm

its not listed on the dbilas product website.

any help would be really appreiciated
cheers!
gaz

i think that is optimistic... with a decent head job then maybe a 20hp gain

its a bit milder than the AST2, a very capable cam with headwork and carbs.

imho ITB's on an 8v are somewhat pointless
