Chop out the spare wheel well if you haven't already, then raise the suspension turrets, making sure to allow clearance for you to use coilovers instead of seperate springs and dampers. After that you could make a new rear beam up like Austin did.

what you mean mate ?
i wouldn't bother until you have it finished off & the wheels of your choice fitted, or you will simply be throwing good money after bad
It already looks broken, why would you want it lower?

just saw it when sloth had it looked good when i got it arches were rotten well bad just had seal put over them engine bay was halve seam welded dent in roof doors were bubbled with rust behind them and steering rack was bent :)
i didnt own it, i built it from a std 1.0 that came from wales. it is/was rotten at the front splash guards and the lower rear wings etc. the lad i built it for knew about it all and wasnt bothered. shame as when he got it it was mint. i wanted it when saloony sold it. no offence here but its a shame its been cut up imo.
i have still have logbook for it pm me your address

then you won't be able to actually drive it anywhere because the exhaust will get ripped off
then you won't be able to actually drive it anywhere because the exhaust will get ripped offactually not necessarily true, my standard exhaust on this never scrapped once, so if you made a custom exhaust that sits higher you'll have no probs imo

i know, burgo, but that pickup looks even lower than your motor
I reckon its about the same, maybe a few mm lower. Being raised up at the front makes it appear lower on the back IMO
well with how low mine is there i was having fairly serious rubbing issue lol so i dont see how he can be
