plans are to use it to take my dog out, cart tools around, etc etc i have a set of alloys to go on it as the back tyres have had it thats pretty much it.

my freind that has built a far few nova's see it and now wants to stick a 2L engine in the front of it but as long as it gets me about for the time being i don't really care. :d

undersealed rust treated bits and bobs other biuts painted etc

Love the colour... looks the same/simular to my old Nova colour.

If it is the same colour as mine i have a painted grille here for 1 incase you ever need 1.

sloth yer its the one i see it looked at the pics worked out it was at a lads garage i know just up the road so quick trip (2miles) with the truck and some haggle haggle :thumb:

i have a silver corsa 1.2 that is propper rotten so i thought if the head was damaged i can just swapp bits over.

springs are off the corsa i got to swap some little bits over like the idle control valve as nova one has seen better days fue other bits and bobs

when i was carless i found a cav and put a offer in and the owner said it was tolow and worth alot more bla bla bla

well after some thought he has decided he will take my offer so tomorrow i pick up a cav cdi = 2L 8v running gear.

so might have a play after all :confused:

got the cav tonight i just need a astra in the same colour and i have got all the vauxhall's in that colour tfrom the 90's this month as had a corsa as well lol

nova is running like a bag of S**t :mad: so looks like i might be driving the cav about for a bit

my truck costs less to run then my old corsa with its 1/2 cam shaft powered 1.2 engine. tax same as cav mot same as cav :cool:

but i have to side with you on the clibra bit

i saved one cav sri this month that i got for scrap don't often get a sniff at a clibra's as they are all rotten and gone or not rotten and people try robbing you on the price lol

nova is runnign like as bag of ****e again and refused to start on the old owner of the cav's drive last night so it can sit about for abit wile i smoke about in the cav :cool:

i tryed polishing it but the paint is propper ****ed so i am going to take my old man up on mop lessions don't matter if i burn the paint on this unlink the merc etc

nova i am taking the throttle boddy off the corsa giving it a dam good clean out swapping them over also taking off the box with the pipe going to it and swapping that with nova see if it helps sort the bad running etc oh and fuel filter to (new one)

up date it was the euc on the nova so that swapped for one out the corsa its now running ok again :) fitted new wheels on look ok no one has said "i don't like them" so i must have some taste or luck lol.

cav has been stolen by the girl friend and i have got the A reg nova back on my drive:cool:

once i have got a tyre swapped over and have all 4 alloys on the car i'll get some pictures up :thumb:

one law when you own a recovery truck and not a tow car you must have a dog!! if you get stopped by the cops they can charge you with driving with out a dog not being a full pikey etc etc

the must also not let any one near or in the cab he dosen't know at any time :thumb:

up date on the nova i am swapping the corsa hubs over today as the new wheel bearings in them have covered 30 miles max and the ball joints about the same i come on here to ask if the bottem arms fit as they are loads stronger then the nova ones quick surch (incase the question had been asked 100 times before) and bingo so off to clean and paint them up :thumb: this forum rocks when you own a nova its better then any haynes book of jokes :cool:

little update covered over 100 miles in it now problem free

the cav is getting broken up (sorry guys) some d**k heads tryed braking in to it and bent both the front doors out, bent them back in but they are now creased so once the mot is out the engine will be comming out along with outher bits and bobs :(

i sold the cav engine and box for good money but next time it needs brake pads or front discs the cav calipers will be fitted :D thinking of sticking the cav steel wheels on it to save scrapping when i have the boot full or 3 people in the car :lol:

so its worked hard jump started 15+ cars vans and my recovery truck picked up peugeot 306 axils wayed in 20alloy wheels at a time etc
in my away time some dickheads (might be the same ****s that did the cav) tryed steeling the nova bent passager door out tryed snapping steering lock and just failed again but left me with air con :roll: and its passed a mot and been retaxed only problem at the moment is it never gets worm so i never get heating and look like this :wtf: when driving about lol
also still has odd wheels has had 3 sets of odd wheels now one day i'll get round to fitting all 4 :d
