View Full Version : Diagnostic port
My eml light has come on on my 20xe nova and i need to flash the code/s which cars can i rob the diagnostic port off? Is it only cars using the 20xe?
Can you not just earth the brown/yellow wire mate to flash the ecu light?
I didnt realise you could do that??? so i just connect the brown yellow to an earth point then? such as the indicator earth which would be nearest
Basically last night it were running like a bag of ****,wouldnt idle and at low revs was popping and farting til it got going and even then it was underpowered, and the eml was on all the time it was doing this

c20xe or 20xe,
on my 20xe i have to earth out two wires to flash it :p
20Xe gear in a Let block lol I have 2 wires leftover from fitting which are brown with yellow trace-which should earth out to flash codes, and the red/blue speed sensor (iirc) wire which isnt needed
What colour wires do you use?

does it do it all the time or just when cold ?
Well last night it was doing it all my way home (35miles)
But sunday, just when cold. Then filled up and it stopped but by that point it was up to temp
Seems to fart more at low revs then picks up better but not full power
