DID the SRIs have a badge on the grill i know the SRs didnt but not sure on SRI

Nope, only late Mk1 SR's had the 'SR' badge on the grill - Mk2 Nova SR/SRi's didn't have any grill badge :)

As above no grill badge and none were ever listed as parts. They called them Joy Sports in Europe so no chance there either.

phil lofthouses mk2 sr has an sr badge in the grille...

You can make the Mk1 SR badge fit with a bit of effort (or squashing the grill slats). Mine has an SRi badge on the grill but it ain't off a Nova ;)

Interesting, there's a relatively legit looking Mk2 1400SR for sale near me that has an SR badge in the grill. Doesn't look like its been mashed in there either
