lol was just discussing the fad for Kenwood stickers way back in the day with MK911 yesterday.

I disagree, there headunits used to sound good, the speakers were fine & the amps damn good.

It all went downhill when they started making all the headunits the same & pricing them for muppets, ie £80 CD players galore.

I, haven't got a clue, most of the headunits on ebay are old as well so there's no info around on them, alpine stuff is the worst for it, it seems they can make a really decent headunit then what you'd assume the next model up is, is far worse lol I've given up trying to work it out now and I'm just gonna pick up whatever goes cheap that looks decent and assume my ears will not notice the difference through whatever bargain 2nd hand speakers I get lol

the stickers do remind me of my first ever png meeting in about 1994...... a park in luton... 30 cars turned up & only 2 weren't stickered up with zebra stripes.... mine & the regional coordinators.... then the other 28 had a sound-off, then we drove to the pub (some things never change) and the other 28 were 1.0's or 1.2's and couldn't keep up with us.......ahhh nostalgia.....

Mark, Alpine publish all their manuals and specs on their website. I always thought their lineup was relatively straight forward, but I've not been keeping an eye on them for about 5 years or so

For all of their HU's including obsolete ones? Because I couldn't find anything when I tried. Also found an audio forum and it seems once you get past the specs there are certain lower models that have less features but are built better or have higher quality components etc.

Manuals are in there but without an actual spec list that I can see, can at least see if they've got RCA's though. Had a quick look and everything I'm looking at is basically the same as far as connections go, so who knows lol
