Right then, here is some pics to show you what my Nova looks like.

I bought it 2 months ago after I saw it on piston heads. When I saw the pics I realised that its the same car that Steve (local lad I know) built and owned.

So I rang Steve and asked him if he knew anything about the car and he told me that he recently moved it (he owns a recovery business) and bodywork wise its not as clean as what it used to be but engine etc are still spot on.

So I went with him to see the car and he was right about the bodywork but underneath the car is solid and no rot anywhere so I bought it.

Cesaros weren't part of the deal so I gave them back and got some steelies for the time being till I find some decent wheels, in the mean time I painted them to cover the rust and covered tyre in some tyre shine:

vaughanmc -I was as a corsa sport meet couple of weeks ago and met the dude that put the plate on, he owned it about 6/7 years ago

Anyone know where I can get 1 subframe or is there a way of making your own, right now its been adapted to fit the standard subframe.

Harness will be added later on.

Ive taken my nova a few times and it always draws a crowd, chevette is my mates steve its an HS with a full R kit on it and is probably better specced than most HSRs

Just had a look in his project, his wheels are standard Pulsar ones.

The ones in that pic are made by Enkei.

If offset is good I will get them.

Few updates.

On Monday/Tuesday the bottom arm plates, rear suspension and poly bushes went on:

To be 100% honest I think the bushes are a waste of money, I didn't feel any difference.

Then on Wednesday I went to get a quote from a bodyshop, on the way back alternator stopped working so called breakdown and they took it home:

Then Yesterday I picked up some Astra GTE wheels, 2 with R888 tyres. Today I gave them a clean then polish and tyre shine then fitted and raised the front a bit too:

Here is whats been happening.

Alternator was replaced but car still wouldn't charge, turns out it was the battery :wtf:. My fault for not trying that first.

Couple of days later it got broken into:

So I've bought a steering boss of a member on here and waiting for that to come. I've got a feeling the column is bent too.

Probably about £250, they're in near new condition and rear struts have polys in them and come with top mounts too.
