HI THERE, UP FOR SALE IS MY 1985 NOVA TURBO WHICH IS RUNNING A 3 STAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, FIRST SETTING IS 227.7 BHP, 225.9 TORQUE AT 0.7 BAR OF BOOST, SECOND SETTING IS, 252.2 BHP, 275 TORQUE AT 0.8 BAR OF BOOST AND THE THIRD SETTING IS 278.4 BHP, 296.5 TORQUE AT 0.9 BAR OF BOOST. YOU CAN CHANGE BETWEEN THESE SETTINGS IN A SPLIT SECOND.

WHEN I GOT THIS CAR THERE WAS 60,000 MILES ON THE CLOCK AND THE CAR HAS DONE ABOUT 65.000, SO IT IS A VERY LOW MILE SHELL. THIS IS A VERY HIGH SPEC CAR, IT IS READY TO RACE OR ROAD USE, WHATEVER YOUR INTENTIONS ARE.

IT IS TAXED TILL 31/09/2010 AND MOTED TILL 06/08/2010.

I STARTED TO BARE SHELL RE-BUILD THIS CAR FOUR YEARS AGO, IT WAS STRIPPED TO A BARE SHELL AND ALL UNDERNEATH THE CHASSIS WAS DONE, ALL RE-UNDER SEALED, INSIDE THE ARCHES AND DOORS WERE WAX OILED. I HAD PLATES WELDED FOR THE ROLL CAGE. I HAD A HARRY HOCKLEY STRENGTHENING KIT FITTED IN THE ENGINE BAY AND ALL STITCH WELDED. I HAD THE DOOR LOCKS REMOVED, FUEL FILLER CAP REMOVED, SOME LINES ON THE BACK AND FRONT SUPPORT PILLARS SMOOTHED OFF AND SOME OF THE LINES ON THE FRONT AND BACK BUMPERS SMOOTHED. NEW FRONT AND REAR ARCHES AND ANY RUST CUT OUT, WHICH WAS NEXT TO NONE. BASICALLY A FULL RESTORATION OF THE WHOLE CAR. IN THE END OF 2008, BEGINNING OF 2009, I HAD IT BARE SHELL REPAINTED AGAIN IN THE LATEEST BASE WHITE DONE BY VW/AUDI. THE FIRST TIME I HAD IT RE-BUILT, I HAD THE REAR AXEL POWERED COATED, EVERY SINGLE BUSH, BEARING, TRACK ROD END ETC. REPLACED BRAND NEW. AND ON THE FIRST RE-BUILD IT WAS ST ORANGE AND WAS A FRONT COVER FEATURE IN TOTAL VAUXHALL MAGAZINE IN JULY 2008, ISSUE 85, AND AROUND THAT TIME IT WAS ON THE TOTAL VAUXHALL STAND AT THE PVS SHOW AT SANTA POD.

THIS CAR HAS HAD OVER £32000 POUNDS SPENT ON IT PRICE REFLECTS CAR. THIS IS THE CLEAEST NOVA AROUND AND IS A HELL OF A CAR U WILL NOT FIND A BETTER ONE.

WHEN I HAD THE ENGINE MAPPED AFTER RUNNING IT IN, I HAD A STANDARD FUEL PUMP AND STANDARD INJECTORS. I HAVE SINCE REPLACED THE PUMP WITH A WALBRO UPRATED PUMP AND IF YOU UPRATED THE INJECTORS AND GOT IT REMAPPED YOU COULD RUN OVER 300BHP AT ONLY ONE BAR OF BOOST. SO BASICALLY YOUR RUNNING LOTS OF POWER AND NOT PUTTING LOADS OF STRAIN ON THE TURBO. BEFORE I PUT THE F28 GEARBOX IN, I DID A 12.9 QUARTER MILE AT SANTA POD LAST YEAR WITH SOME R888's AND A GOOD LAUNCH THIS CAR WILL EASILY HIT THE HIGH 11'S LOW 12'S.
