so the time has arrived to change the fuel sender in the nova does anyone know where i can get hold of a how to for changing the sender as my haynes manual still aint turned up?????
or does anyone know how to do it and wanna write me out a how to: lol

depends what kind you have, some of them bolt in and some you have to wedge a screwdriver across the face of it where the plug is and turn it out im sure

i got a sender from a mk2 nova once and found they are defrent to mk1 senders so defo difrent types like swedge said

Drop the tank down a bit, undo the screws & wiring plug, put in the new sender & screw it back up. I tried some high temp oil resistant gasket sealant & it never leaked.
Obv do this with an empty/low tank of fuel.

yeah cool i bought my sender from vauxhall so hopefully its rite cos i cant return it as its a special order mind due he came out and took loads of details off the car
as long as its was th original tank that came with the car its should be fine then
