After a little discovery in the early hours of this morning i think we have sourced the problem with my GSi, now i have thought this before but this time it is a real possibility, as we have changed all the sensors etc, have done all the main areas over and over. Various people have looked at it and said they cant see why its not running.

I am to scared to put what it is until i know for sure, but watch this space, i will be trying it out tommorow at first light to see if its all systems go! :?

Fingers crossed!

(if it is the thing we think it i am going to feel a complete Tw*t)

Ben says: F**king thunderstorms!!!!

you mean a tunderstorm caused the problem on your car, or prevented you from working on it???

Nova-Boy

tow it down the road with the golf and at about 70mph let up the clutch in the Nova with first gear selected..............and i promise it will make noise for once and for all!!

Have tried that one Brian.

The problem i thought it was... Is the Octane plug was missing, i thought would be nice and simple to just plug it in but... cant find the bloody plug it goes into. We know where its supposed to be but still cant find it.

Techie (Ross) also gave me another idea as to what could be the problem so will investigate this later as well.
