just wondering would it be better to get one of these performance inlet manifolds or a set of 40's also where could i get a manifold made up for these carbs? obviously would like proper throttle bodies but bit out of my range lol. also what increase am i likely to see? my friend had some on his 1.4 fiesta and said it made a little difference and drank the petrol, i mean if its worth the gains im not to botherd about the petrol, it wont be driven 24/7

i think it'll be best to get a performance inlet - the o.e one is really restricted - and for ease of ownership/ reliability stick with e.f.i , dont bother with carbs

The main hurdle with carbs is the ignition, you cant bodge on a dizzy for cheapness.

Powerbox's work well anyway.

Just get the powerbox, cheaper and will be less hastle to setup as they don't need any.
