Having trouble getting the F16 cluster into my box,its tight up to the dowels but wont go that last 10mm,ive tried turning the flywheel incase the input shaft hasnt quite met the splines of the clutch to no avail, then i tried turning the diff but this is now solid which brings me to this question

I would imagine your pinion gear isnt matching the crown gear thats on the diff. You need to bung an F16 crown wheel on that matches the pinion gear OR swap the pinion gear on the cluster to match the F20 Diff.

Bus seeing as my gearbox knowledge isnt amazing, that is just a suggestion lol
