is there a thread on how to tune a 1.6 8v

what do you guys think of this spec stole it off a youtube video lol

Standard inlet manifold and throttle body as Group A build spec. Four branch manifold. 20 XE injectors. 16XE coil pack. FSE regulator. MBE 967 programmable ECU and SBD loom with all new sensors fitted. 20XE oil cooler. Alloy oil catch tank. Bailey header tank. Janspeed full exhaust system. 147 bhp at 7250rpm and 117lb/ft at 4700rpm
Fully rebuilt original engine 1600 8v, Block cleaned and painted black. Crank sized and polished journals. Rods fitted with ARP bolts. New main and big end bearings. New oil and water pumps. Lightened and balanced flywheel. Head gas flowed with 3 angle valve seats. New hydraulic lifters and piper competition valve springs. Oil pressure adjusted with small spacer. Piper 300 degree rally cam and vernier pully.

Look in articles, and I think I know which vid this is, also the 1.6 8v engines are good for 150 bhp but it isn't easy work.

the 1.6 8v engine got alot of potential more reliable and easier to sort than the 1.6 16v

ok, you want uber spec 1.6?
bodies, omex, 300 deg cam high comp pistons, 4 into 1 matched mani, ported head, bigger valves, and plenty more. you may see 200bhp from that, but your into 4k or more for bits.

Yeah thought that was the vid, a 200 brake 1.6 8v would be on its limits wouldn't it?

Only? lol I'm hoping and praying to get at least that out of my 1.6 16v lol
