lol out of all of them. XP is the bestest :)
I now gotta spend the next few hours installing softwares, should be loads of fun :(
Vista is horrendous, 7 is so much more stable.
XP is Ok, but its dated compared to Vista & 7. Its funny how used to 7 I got, now when I have to use my desktop machine its a pain with it being on XP lol
Took a little bit of getting used to the layouts in 7, some of the control panel stuff is a bit deeper away and needs more clicking to find.
If Mike is in the control panel I am worried lol
Aye, ive noticed things are proper hidden away alright!!
On a side note tho, im well pleased with the PC in qeustion! 1 whole terrabite of hard drive FTW :P
If Mike is in the control panel I am worried lol
I look but dont touch ;) lol
your hard drive is bigger than mine :( I wanna look into Solid State Drives tbh (thats a "fancy drive" to you mike lol) but it's all money which would be better spent in my rollcage fund lol

It's a really big usb drive that sits in your PC as a hard drive, it doesn't spin so theres no um, turbo lag? lol :d

All the black bits are usb drives/memory cards etc basically and they combine up to make up to about 500gb, the 500gb ones are mega money though, more like 64-128Gb to be vaguely affordable
7 is fantastic Mike, whats wrong wid ya? lol

I also like vista but as for XP being the best I don't agree, it may be more stable than vista but I just can not use XP the whole layout of it just feels so wrong and dirty, I feel like a filthy old pervert after being on an XP machine.

aww, it's so sweet! And is going to overheat like a ******* in summer as Dell don't know what cooling is, and all of those little box things overheat Dell or not lol Hopefully they've bucked their trend for you but I'd watch out for that and it keep it somewhere it can vent nicely etc. Mine is in the show us your desks thread, on my desk funny enough lol

O rly? lol wasn't a million results on google though so you might be alright :thumb:
Was a major issue on dells for years, one I had kept blue screening, I realised in the end the airflow in the case was dire, it was drawing in through about 10 6mm holes, and the rest was sealed! you could put your hand over it and the fan would change speed as it created a vacuum inside!

Mines a Dell Inspiron zino HD tho :p
Egg had thousands of Dell computers an they all worked a treat? The one ive got runs completely silent, where as my old laptop (prior its death the other day) the fan was stuggling & you could hear it whinning!!
Depends what you're doing on them, they get hot when you stress them, running word etc doesn't need too much, when I run a program on mine that purposely loads the processor up 100% it will hit near 70c at the hottest point and that's pretty cold for what it is, they need decent airflow. They seem to do it a lot better on higher end models but still never great imo. Also googled yours and less than 3000 results for overheating, mostly unrelated, looks good :)

WTF lol i searched this an nothing came up???
Altho mines been on since 11am this morning & its barely warmed up lol
theres next to no actual results on google front page so I'm sure you'll be fine, seems they finally worked out how to cool stuff down... we've had 4 or 5 dells in this house desktops and laptops and all had heat issues, sisters laptop when back various times on RMA for heat problems.
