20XE cam cover

i was thinking about this today, i have a 20XE and it does not have an alloy cam cover only a black plastic one, just to be sure will the alloy one be any different? i dont think so but please confirm.

i know very little about these engines so far.

its defo a 20xe on a dizzy from a 89 gte astra and the dhoc 16v is stamped at the end next to the dizzy not at the camshaft pulley end bit, ive had the engine for 6 or 7 years now and thats me just about to use it lol and it has square teeth on the cam pulleys, defo not an ecorec

cheeky lol ive had none cos i had to get time of to recover from getting 2 wisdom teeth surgicaly removed,

oh and epic fail on my part the cambelt cover that is next to the engine ISN'T the one for it :roll: BUT the standard one is plastic aswell so im kind of right lol

em engine followed but unknown cover followed buy its own PLASTIC one.
