my youngest daughter had me crying last sunday... i was driving past a field full of cows and the older ones were counting up how many were lying down & how many were standing to work out the percentage chance of rain (one of my many car journey games) when the youngest one declared....'i know why cows lie down'...'its so they can lay milk', her friend keeps 2 pet hens and is an expert on these things.....
