Does anyone remember the Antibes?

I remember when I was about 14 or 15 my cousin had an Antibes. Are there any still about?

They had a 1.2 lump and some SR trim iirc?

No theres one local although very battered now, has some form of decal depicting a mountain on the quarter iirc, originally a 1200 with an SR boot spoiler, six dial clocks and a five speed box i think, apart from the wheels and exhaust tip on Andys, visually its the same as how he bought it, now its an XE lol

I wipe my feet before i get in mine lol i have quite an ocd shall we say,soon it will develop into driving shoes that only live in the car lol

Nova Clubs had the off white/grey carpets..

The cars (Astras & Cavs, too) arrived from the factory with plastic covering over the seats and carpets, which, most of our customers attempted to keep in place for as long as they could..

..which wasn't very long!

Those carpets didn't look too well a year or so down the line..

Antibes faired much better and the whole package looked really good..

Well i dont know you nova geek, ive not seen one with the decals on up close, ive only ever seen the one near me as ive driven past or its passed me the other way :p

Only as rare as any other unmolested nova, which to say theyre all getting rare now as that many have been scrapped, scrappaged, crashed and so on!

To be fair though, it was a little better than your average parts bin special (swing, spin, ski, slug, snoop, skadge or whatever else they called them), as it actually had unique parts such as the carpet.

They definitely only had 4 clock dials, this was my first car, one owner from new jobbie, and a 5-speed F10

The clocks are the same as sport/sr clocks but instead of the oil and battery having guages they are just lights
