wont start when cold

i got a e16 se.
when its coldit wont start straight away. it tries to fire and run but it wont, until 5 minutes after. then it will run.
the fuel is up there.
but i dont know where else to start
if its a hot day it will start straight away

any suggestions people????????

i cant read any fault codes as i gt it in a mk4 astra and cant get in to the ecu.

i got pics of the engine on the project thread.

ecu temp switch under dissy two pin blue . i had it with my nova

cheers mate. so thats telling the ecu what temp the water is then obviously.

yea it tell temp for ecu for fueling when cold and hot
