View Full Version : Clutch Removal clips

I need a set of clutch clips to remove the clutch through the access plate on the F20. Either to buy or borrow please!!

Just wasted a week as had ordered on toolbay only to be told now, none in stock and supplier doesn't do them anymore!

Alternatively, can anyone point me in direction of another supplier??

Il have a look for mine in the garage in abit or you could get a lil bit of metal and bend it to the right shape with a slot in it:thumb:

they co0me on the clutch when you buy it normally!!

and ill try and find a pic, i just took 3 off my XE clutch.

They hold the clutch in compression to the cover so it can be removed via cover plate (once input shaft is pulled back)

top right in this pic with the small arrow on.
Didn't know they come with clutch but i'm not replacing that, i need the clutch out to gain access to the slave cylinder. hoping i can get that out without removing the gearbox!
