Hi guys hoping you can help,
a friend at work has a astra 1.6 8v 52 plate i beleive its a Z16SE, unfortunalty the cam has worn but all been well i maybe be able to help with some spares i have in the garage hence the compatibilty question.
i have a nova GTE cam i cant remember if there C16SE or E16SE but its defernatly a gte cam as i was going to fit it to my 1.2 corsa because if i remember corectly alot of the old 8v parts where interchangable.
the question is the GTE cam compatible with the Z16SE and if it does fit is it a similar spec, will the car run ok?
this will just mean he can get his car on the road for the least amount of money as he has been quoted ridiculas amounts for a vauxhall cam
