Meh apparently my area is a safe labour seat so WTF was the point of me voting! IMO they should change the voting system to proportional and make the ****s work for my vote!

Apparently my area will have it's result at around 3AM, I think it's probably a safe Labour seat as it has been for a long time now. Although I have seen a lot of SNP poster's up.

P.S - Jeremy Paxman does my head in.

I want to watch but I also NEEEED sleep. Now someone has made a thread which will enable me to stay up and waste precious sleeping hours. I think I'll have to boycott it and turn off the laptop NOW! lol

Lynsey

Tories for me sir :thumb: Whoever takes it on is going to have a hard job. Things are in a mess and that aint going to change overnight but Labour don't deserve another chance IMO.

Burgo lol

Lib Dems will effectively be "in power" if hung parliament comes to fruition, which is quite likely. Ohh ho ho ho, that'll be fun!

[edit] Just reading the policies for some of the more random parties on the bbc website. Transport ones are amusing - Green party intended to increase fuel duty by 8% every year, no votes for them then lol BNP want a magnetic levitation railway lol And if the Christians were to get in, you can sleep well at night for maximum car park fines for overnight stays won't exceed the daily charge lol

same as me (as already said)

the way i see it lol

this country is ****ed.

the tories will look after the rich/succesful but thats fine because these people will build our economy back up. as it stands we have nothing (thanks to brown selling gold to early)

for the 'grounded' people (you know who you are, we dont buy everything on the 'never never') life wont change to much. as long as your prepared to work for what you have you'll be fine imho

my little brother (whos at uni on a mickey mouse course) had an argument with me earlier.
as i see it - how can a ****ing doley/single mother be entitled to a better standard living than me ? im a single guy who gets up at 5am to go to work ? dont get me wrong we all have to put food on the table BUT im struggling to live, if it wasnt for living at home id be ****ed - i dont want handouts, i want a fair chance to buy a home

I voted SNP but realistically from the main 3 I think I would want the Tories. Labour have had they're chance and IMO made an **** of it, the spongers who play the benefits system have had it far far too easy under Labour power and hopefully whoever comes in to replace them (fingers crossed) will sort this joke out.

I lost my job last year and tried to get benefits and was told that because my Mrs earns as much as she does I was entitled to nothing, despite the fact I have been paying tax since I have left school and usually quite a lot of it. But yet people can just live off these benefits and get a nice easy life without having to work for **** all.

EDIT - Jesus christ Kirkcaldy & Cowdenbeath!!

Same as, they're going to cut back vital services, benefits and anything else which benefits the lower classes, but it's needed to get us out of the economic disaster that gordon brown left us in, labour solution seems to be forget about it for a few years and hope someone else is in power by the time it's **** creek without a paddle stage lol

Lembit has gone! 13.1% swing to the Conservatives. We were traditionally the safest LD seat in Wales.
