Hi everyone i have now purchased a set of twin 40's with the irmsher inlet manifold all i need to know is how to fit them and also what i will need to fit them and were i can purchase these parts from any help??? :confused:

standard inlet manifold gasket, all the studs and nuts to fit the carbs to the manifold, alternator lowering bracket and longer tensioner arm, and an appropriate throttle cable.

Any 1 know where i can get the alternator lowering bracket from??

ebay or lower the original with a bit of drilled plate and a few bolts :thumb: they are mega rare. The tensioner arm can be extended by cutting and welding two arms together.
Buy a new linkage - my biggest tip.
I had an alt bracket lowering mount but mines still not ideal.

you will need an alternator will a small pulley too, something that i didnt realise til i tried fitting mine. The fan blades catch on the bracket.
