**Reminder** Milton Keynes Meeting 11/05/03

Hello Guys,

Here are the directions and any other details you need to know about the Milton Keynes meeting on Sunday 11th May 2003.

The meeting will be held in Milton Keynes, Campbell Park at 2pm.

The location used is the same location used at the last Milton Keynes meeting. Below are Directions to the event from A) The M1 and B)The A5...

A) If you are traveling along the M1, turn off at Junction 14. If you are travelling from the South, turn Left of the M1, If you are travelling from the North, Turn Right once you come off the M1. You will now be on the A509, at the first roundabout you come to, take the 3rd exit. Go straight over the next 2 roundabouts. At the 3rd Roundabout, turn Left. You should now be on Overgate. Turn Right at the roundabout. You should now be on Silbury Boulevard, about 200yards on the right will be some carparks. This is where we will meet.

B) If you are travelling along the A5, come off at the turning for Central Milton Keynes. You should be on the A509. Go straight over the next 5 roundabouts. Turn Right at the 6th roundabout. You should now be on Skeldon Gate. Turn Left at the roundabout. You should now be on Sibury Boulevard, about 200 yards on the left will be some carparks. This is where we will meet.

I will be there before 2pm, so keep your eyes peeled for a Black Nova.

If people get hungry, A Drive Thru McDonalds is near towards the A5 roundabout, it's dead easy to get to. There is a McDonalds in the SnowDome, but you have to pay to park there and it can get quite busy. You're probably best to go to the Drive Thru, then you can enjoy the MK roads ;)

as long as you have those directions and a copy of that map you cant go far wrong mate, if you get confused just head back to the M1 and try again > is all straight forward and simple coz of all the roundabouts, just dont lose count.

"Bad News" I hear you cry...

The bad news is that I've been asked to work over the weekend :cry: This means that chances of me attending the very meeting that I organised are "slim" <-- Huh, do you get it? ;) Unless I manage to make it out before 2pm, it's looking doubtful that I'll be there :cry: I know this is really bad, as the host should really be there, but believe me, theres nothing that can be done about it.

Now, before you all get dis-heartend, heres the good news...

My car shall be at the meeting :D

Before you all get excited, no i haven't turned my car into a modern day replica of KITT from KnightRider. I have given the keys to JKHilton.

"Are you mad" I hear you shout.

No I'm not mad, but I do feel bad for not being able to attend. This way, my car will be there to make up the numbers.

"But what about the fact that JKHilton seems to jinx cars and brings them to destruction, aren't you worried about that Jim?" I hear you mention as I hand the keys to John and see him light up the tyres as he drops me off at work.

I trust John not to destroy my car "/me crosses fingers". I know John will look after it, he even said hes going to wash it for me. I have had to give John the keys to my house in order for him to wash the car.

"What about the fact that Johns a serial woman-iser, aren't you worried he'll try and steal your girlfriend from you?" Well, your previous questions have been duely noted and given me no concern, but this question has made me think...

I've just got off the phone with John, he's just told me that a pipe has split near the bulkhead where the filters for my twin 40's are. I know this could have happened at any time, but it had to be whilst John was driving the car, LMFAO. Hopefully it's nothing major, it's just a water pipe thats split, but it's obviously spraying water onto the engine and causing a load of steam to come out from the bonnet.

Oh well, these things happen. We should be able to sort it out for tomorrow, LOL
