Hi,

Bought a diomand last sunday, not sure weather to keep it a diamond or not, only reason being is that it needs welding on the bottom half in a couple of areas, andtrying to get a paint match will be hard and expensive, so not sure weather to do down the Mk1 SR root and get some grey vinyl around the bootom half, change the bumper+grill, rear boot decal, wraparound spoiler, already have the wheels, steering wheel, dash, windscreen, or try and keep it a diamond.

thanks
Nathan

I voted diamond purely beacuse its been about 6 years since I've seen one on the road. Also it will be cheaper!

Apart from the gay sticker what else does the diamond have?

electric windows, tilt and slide sunroof, extra heat vents in the dash, 3 spoke alloys, sr steering wheel, not sure about suspension, but does seem lower than a normal standard nova hatch. colour coded mirrors, extra speakers in the rear qauter parcel shelf holders. centre console, matching front door cards to seats

Sr vinyl over bad welding and ripples will look as bad as dodgy paint attempts, but if you wanna go for that look then do it. Whats a Nova Diamond to anyone? lol

Sounds like an average nova to me. I'd chose to sr it. No point going out of your way to make it a totally standard 'diamond', imo anyway :)
