Lowering Corsa SRI onto 16"

Help needed.
I have just baught an L reg SRI Corsa and intent to put it on 16"x 6.5" or 16"x7" and lower it just on springs.
I would prefer to lower it 60mm but I'm not sure if the alloys will scrub?
Would it still scrub if it went down 40mm on springs?
Would it be better to put it on 15"s.
Any advice or help would be appreciated. :?

i lowerd my mates corsa 50mm for him and then sold him my 17s. they caught quite bad at the back but you just need to take out the screws that hold the plastic arch on and then glue the arches back onto the car with tiger seal or something similar. its not a major job so dont be afraid to do it if they catch. theres a picture of his car on my feature.

although i liked his nova enough to whack it in the calender this year ;) so that says something!
