by the sounds of it they are the wrong off set you need et 49 wheels best wheels to use are vauxhall wheels ie cave slabs, ceresos etc o and what size tyres you using

Either wrong offset or silly sized tyres mate...

my gm 6x15 et49's rubbed on the rh arch, a quick whiz with a grinder soon sorted them out, the shell tolerance is dire on novas

My 6x15 ET49's rubbed the inner arch but never ever the outer arch but my mates Nova with the same wheels caught the arch lip slightly and cleared the inner arch by miles lol

195/45/15 tyres would be the best bet to start with before you cut pieces of the car away mate :)

There was 195/50 tyres on them was catching on the outside arch lip.wheels do look Quite wide but thought it was just me.if I was to get cav slabs on 195/45 would they be ok? And would they still be on if I lower ?

195/45/15's on Slabs should clear the arches lowered -60mm mate providing it's the original arches (Replacement arch lips are wider than originals)

Fanblades are much nicer than Cav GSi wheels IMO...Up to you though :)

Have not seen the fan blades don't think . Just got a flame red nova and thought. Get black bumpers and black cav slabs would go well.
