i wasnt sure where to put this as its mech and styling...

basically, i want to paint the manifold on my engine, what should i use? that vht stuff or is there an easier/cheaper/better option?:thumb:

pretty much any paint will burn off an exhaust manifold very quickly

just suffer it or see if you can fit a shiny heatshield

cant you have them ceramic coated. i dont no how much it cost but you can have it done pritty much any colour you want iirc

BBQ paint works a treat sloth. But any sort of VHT paint will burn off pritty quickly tbh.

It will rust/burn off because exhausts rust from the inside out.

Ceramic coating costs a **** load

that high temp paint is poo but i was beat to saying barby paint is ok for the job my mate did the manifould on his corsa with it!

lol off to b&q!! well it will work untill it rusts off but then you can allways rub it back and do it again!!
