hi am i right that a f10 5 speed box will fit on my 1.0L engine ??

the innards will fit straight on, the housings are different, but it really is easy to fit a 5 speed cluster & shifter box.. just make sure that you swap the final drive gears over, it might need a puller.

odds on the F10 5spd will bolt straight on no problem

Im pretty sure they bolt streight on, I cant see a differance, and I had both sat next to each other.

Just remember to cut the plastic tab (Ali really) Tit off the selector:)

OK, i'm..... writing....... slowly....... so........ everybody........ will....... understand.........

the f10 gearbox casting for the 1.0 is different to the casting for the 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 engines.........the mucky bits will fit straight in, but the box won't fit

ok so i have to take every thing out of the f10 and put it in my 1.0 one yeah ??

yes ... may as well change the engine whist you there for an extra few bolts pipes and clips

ill agree with ya mate, but im confused why replace a four speed for a five speed. better acceleration with the 4 speed yes????

depends what 5 speed you fit, fit a 4.18 sr box and your laughing.
