true bubba good point
Down side to the MK1 dash is death or serious death could result from leaning over to pick something up and hitting your head off the surround for the clocks, and we wouldn't want a female friend to lose and eye by hitting her face off there when leaning over to give head.

 What MK1 have you been in??? Your thinking of the rear heated window.
The hazard switch in the MK1 is red and rectangular, just a small button that never breaks lol

aha yes my bad :L just had to go out and have a look. :wall:
Mk2 all the way, a mk1 dash is just a solid lump of nastiness carved from a block of poo lol
And all this talk of non breaking hazard switches, the mk2 switch only breaks if youre a ham fisted clown who removes it without turning it on first, ive never broken any of my hazard switches, same as a mk2 glove box, ive seen loads with the front panels ripped off and people always say about them breaking, but ive never had a problem with any of mine :p

mk1 ftmfm just cos where the head unit sits
mk1 with gsi kit lol
Tbh i dont mind aslong as its a nova.
The MK1 dash was spawned from the devils own knarled testicles.
That is all.
I think that should be the closing comment on this thread Lee lol

lol at discuss, you mean start mass argument/brawl
im not bothered, i like novas full stop, both have pros an cons

you suck lol

Lets have a list of pros for the mk1 dash over the MK2 then :) And the hazard switch doesnt count, as Spudly said, theres nothing wrong with the MK2 version if you dont baxter it when its removed lol
Or if you just pull all the weak gubbings out and use it as pull on/push off. The way to fix the weaker element of the mk1 dash is to remove it and fit mk2 lol

I voted Mk2 dash because it's the nicer looking dash but I do have a soft spot for the early Mk1 Nova brown dash lol
The best use for a MK1 dash was demonstrated when I put the XE in jacks loon a few years back. We used it to chock the back wheels :)

Hmm i wonder, if a certain white C plate nova was fitted with a black mk2 dash would you still have the same affection to a dash that looks through colour even more like its been carved from a lump of something i mentioned earlier in this thread lol

the mk1 glovebox front beats the mk2 one up big time.

the mk2 lids fails and wont open :p

You mean the vinyl/foam covered one looks too plasticy next to the plastic one?
the mk2 lids fails and wont open :p
As been said already, only if youre a ham fisted oaf like baxter, anything will break if you wrive on it incorrectly so thats not a failure by the glovebox, merely operator failure!
