Hi,

Some of you may know that i sold my black saloon (Stig) a while ago, to djshaggeh.

Well i couldn't keep the nova bug at bay, so i bought this little beaut sunday and picked it up monday. It's a nova Diamond, tilt and slide sunroof, e windows, extra side heat vents in the dash, needs a little bit of work to get it back to former glory, my plans are to keep it original as possible.

Nice one Nath. Its deffinately got potential, lovely colour too. The saloon its still going strong, had an issue with the solenoid in the starter motor but it managed to fix itself?! lol

Stig how much did you pay in the end if you dont mind me asking, I went to look at that & offered £300 but couldnt pick it up until this weds. Its not a bad car but i did look at it in the dark lol.

Fancy selling me the mud flaps as someone nicked mine :(

gd luck with the project if you need any welding done let me know :p

I paid £350 for her, i think the best buy i have ever done. So much for so little money. The paintwork is great other than the bit of welding that needs doing, but they are all around the bottom half, so might create an sr rep out of it if the welding doesn't look too good

Ok will do just need to get my welder working.

Mudflaps are staying sorry, leaving it as original as i can

Now worries mate, i'll start a project thread tommorow evening as she's getting a new heart at some point over June. I've pretty much stripped the GTE ready for the conversion. Just need the petrol tank and lines. The exhaust is blowing and the tracking needs doing again but luckly enough I've got free usage of a Hunter DSP 4 wheel alignment machine :thumb:. All I've changed is the wheels, I put some polished black cav slabs on. Just cause the treds better on the tyres and taken the dash out ready to change looms.

Shes gets loads of attention. I pulled up in traffic on Friday and a couple of lads in a white van pulled up next to me and said 'nice car mate'.

Shaggy, what tank ya needing? If you're still planning to put 40's on it for a bit theres a carb tank sat in my garage atm.

Thanks, Me niether but they are definately original, mabey an optional extra!
