I have a split in the fuel tank of my 1993 sri (MPI, external pump) so I’m looking for a replacement.
I think I’ve found one, but I’m pretty sure it’s from a 1993 SPI Nova! I’ve been searching and I’ve found some information saying the MPI pump needs modding to go into an SPI tank….but my pump is external?? Can I just blank off the hole for the pump somehow??
Has anyone got any experience with this? Also, are the tanks otherwise identical?
I don’t want to splash out on a new tank and this one’s only £30 and local to me. If I got it, would it be fairly straight forward to get my MPI pump in there and get it fitted? Cheers :thumb:
