Jack the car up, undo the bottom ring, then set to desired height, then move the top ring and spring down to the height
i am confused lol
does the top ring no just keep the tension on the spring

No, they lock into eachother, to stop movement
Depends what coilovers they are matt , my avos only have one ring to set the hight and they are held in place with a grub screw through the ring

The princible is still the same though!
Just move the rings untill you get your desired hight etc and then lock into position by either another ring or as said a grub screw etc!:thumb:
mines r d2s they have 2 rings they both lock onto each other i think not 100% sure if u turn the strut or that to lower/raise

either way, the ring in contact with the base of the spring is the spring platform & will determine the ride height.
Get em on & post up pics if you want us to help you out. You just need the tools & a tape measure to get each side equal.
they aint on the car at the mo. just cleaned the threads n that up before fitting was not wanting to fit till sure on fitting. incase it sits higher at one side etc
On my FK coilovers the bottom ring wouldn't move unless I raise the upper one first.
aww i am confused like lol

Just seen this mate. I have D2's also. They don't come with instructions. Do you have the allen tool for adjusting the damping?
If yours are the same model as mine then you can adjust the spring rate also by just farting about with the collars. lol
Got a pic?

Anything like these?

To adjust the ride height you just move the bottom and middle collars and lock them against each other. Don't mess with the top one.
You first need to raise the spring a little and you do that by turning the ring with the red line on anticlockwise.
After you turn it a couple of times the lower ring with yellow line on should be free, now turn it clockwise to lower the car or anticlockwise to raise it.

When the collars are free, you then turn the strut.
Ooooohhhh pretty purple colours lol

lol Anodised 3D violet alloy bodies FTW. There's some serious slam available if you go 'VAG' and trash the ride quality by compressing the springs as far as they go.
Yeahhh boyyyyy!

mines must not be not be the adjustable damper ones as mine dont ave as big top mounts
so the top ring sits tight against the spring and the bottum ring locks against the top.
this how to do it
