reason i was thinking coloured other than black was so that when the wheel spins, the silver or red would come through? emphasies the fact there is HUGE gaps between the spokes?

although i am thinking along the black lines now......... :? what you all reckon guys?

cheers ade

I'd recommend silver or red... those alloys are very nice and need to show off the gaps in the spokes which will make them look bigger

What size are they Mike

Well I'd say silver or red, though I actually voted red. Only problem with painting calipers a bright colour is that it will make your brakes look even smaller :( Better get on and order those 300mm discs like I showed you... ;)

Yeh go red. Don't introduce new colours like silver. That will look shit. Red will make your car look so much better. I painted my calip[ers and pad things at the front in red on a red sr this weekend. Makes the car look unbeleivably better.

Go red. With black wheels and a red car use RED to brake up the wheels. Dont want it to be too dark down there!

Red will suit your car best. Stick with the Red/Black theme throughout your car.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

red - too boy racerish!

and will not compliment yer wheels (will detract from them!)

Black - will hide brakes, leave a silver disc of thr pad which from a distance will look sweet (regardless of the size)

red just looks neddish (IMO)

Anyway - you have the paint...

You may as well do them black - then if you dont like it - do them red instead...

:D

go for black, red looks terrible anyway but after the first touch of the brakes it wont be very red anyway due to brakedust

following a few theories from replies...

ive got black paint anyway - so may as well use it and try it.

red "neddish... hmmmmm" can c the point, wud think itll look OK though.

i dont wanna detract from wheels at all, so i think black is the way to go..........

can always change it

cheers for all your help guys
