1.6 16v ecotec

been offered a low mileage 1.6 16valve ecotec engine wit box etc just wondering if its worth getting and how difficult to put in a nova ie fitting and wiring etc.

Ecotec is x16xe, thats if it came from a Corsa B.

C16xe is corsa GSI engine.

X16 will have come from a Tigra possibly also.

Just make sure you have the immobiliser pickup, ign key & ECU all from the donor vehicle.

yeah think it was out a tigra.

it doesnt have immobiliser, ign key or ecu so am i better giving it a miss

You will need all of those matching in order for you to get it running.

How much is it offered to you for? Might be worth it for spares.

being offered it for £35 of ma wee cousin but can get it for £30 lol

id buy it as a spare. or try corsasport as looms/ecus and keys pop up for sale

or put carbs on it
