brake bleeding

converted to rear disks, passenger side bleed up fine, getting nothing but air out the drivers help lol

You using a clear tube? Try doing nsf then osr, osf then nsr.

I know its shut now but buy one of those one man bleed pipes from halfords.I bled my brakes up on my own in ten mins last night when i changed the fluid.

Get a clear tube, leave it attatched to nipple whilst bleeding and the other end in a tub submersed in the fluid. Lock the nipple off with the pipe attattched, when the fluid runs clear. Go get you mum to pump the pedal lol

Open it up - 'Down' - lock it off - 'UP' - Open it up - 'Down' - lock it off - 'UP'..... you get the gist

baxter method, use washer hose. its served me well in times of need.... but then i once emptied a full tank of petrol with a washer pump!

Funny mine was the same, look ages and i mean like 5+ mins to get fluid thru.

Wang the eezibleed on, drink a brew whilst undoing the bleed nipples, whole system bled and refilled in about 5 secs :cool:



Can you hear air coming out the bleed nipple??? Maybe the cylinder is blocked or something if you cant

yep theres air pumping thru it

iv taken the pipe of the Mc pump, fluid comes out, iv managed to get a bit of welding wire all the way down the pipe to the back lol, reconnected no fluid

Just keep at it then, if the pedal is going down when you are bleeding it then it has GOT to be forcing fluid somewhere......

when i get someone to pump it, if i look in the reserve, i can see the fluid go down, but then they let go, it all comes back lol

baxter, fit a washer hose & run it into a jamjar with some cooking oil in (its cheaper than dot4 and you can bleed brakes on your own...

you could also wedge a bit of wood onto the brake pedal & then loosen the nipple off.....

i have done both in the past with pretty good results.

Had trouble with this today, couldn't understand why they bled fine and then went spongy, testing them they were fine, grafually braking at the end of the road till... nothing at all, brake fluid all over my pass side front tyre :eek:
