Another V6 Brakes thread.

Just finished my 2.0 Nova and took it out on its maiden voyage.Got home and checked all bolts etc and the disc caught my attention as its as if only half the pad is doing the braking,as per the wear line on the disc.These are brand new fiat coupe 280mm discs and v6 calipers and pads>Obviously it being the brakes makes it a cause for concern lol
Have i done owt wrong?? Anyone ever experienced the same??

are they new pads? if so may just need bedding in.

Yeah brand new pads,i thought that also,but im just real paranoid and want to make sure its all ok

if the pedal feels ok then just bed them in as normal and after a 100 miles or so check them

Well it feels as ok as Nova brakes do lol
It stops well enough like for bedding in stage,just got concerned i had dropped a clanger lol

make sure the piston is pushing out as it should

If you have only done a few miles, the pads wont have even began to make an impression on the discs. Do a hundred miles or more & then report back.
