I have my car for sale on pistonheads at quite a high price lol basically like all the other cars priced on there. Thought i may aswell put it up on here just to see if theres any interest. If anybody is seriously interested you are welcome to view and give me a cheeky offer. I've just copied and pasted straight from the ad...

For sale is my very clean and looked after E36 cab. As far as replicas go this couldnt really get much better with everything on it totally genuine with some nice added extras.

Firstly i need to point out the car was a 328 from the factory but due to the very common 2.8 head gasket failures, I had a 2.5 engine fitted 12 months ago. I was going to change the engine size on the logbook but never got around to it and may aswell leave it for when the logbook gets sent off for the new owner. To downsize the engine number there is no extra info needed, just fill in the engine capacity and itl return as normal.

I bought this car over 18 months ago with LOADS of receipts. It truly amazed me at how much money the previous owners have spent on this, from services, maintainence to bringing it up to the full factory spec. As you may know the 328 coupes from factory where fitted with the MTEC kit, however the convertibles were not. After looking at how the kit has been put on and through receipts I can see that the bumpers and skirts are a factory fit, and then a previous owner bought the mirrors, etc to suit.

The spec:

Built - December 1995
Colour - Maderia Violet (believe is quite a rare colour)
Mileage - 115k
Tax - 5 months
Mot - 11 months. Passed last month with just a leaky rear shock so i replaced that and had no other problems.

Engine : 2.5 engine fitted, serviced last month aswell as brand new front discs and pads. Uprated filter and 2.8 manifold. Has a genuine AC backbox with a receipt for 700pounds. Sounds and pulls very well.

Suspension : Bilstein Front shocks with gmax springs all around. Unsure on drop but the rear is VERY low. Looks stunning once roof is down, stands out a mile away!

Wheels : Genuine staggered M3 wheels, scuffed around the edges but shine up very well. All tyres have more than legal tread.

Interior : Genuine Front M3 vader seats in amazing condition, (you wont see another convertible on your travels with the same seats), rear seats are blue leather to match the full blue carpet and black and blue doorcards. Really clean and nice looking interior. Apart from needing a few clips to secure the doorcards its in perfect condition (i will get this done for you anyway) Also has the 370mm mtec steering wheel which imo is the by far the nicest E36 wheel.

Exterior : Genuine Front bumper with either the genuine EVO lip or the gt style splitter I have fitted now. Genuine skirts and genuine rear bumper and genuine black diffuser. Genuine M3 spoiler and also genuine M3 mirrors with a receipt for 400pounds (not like most reps with just the m3 style mirrors). Blue roof which is in decent condition, no rips or tears and the rear screen looks to be brand new. Genuine M3 rear lights and unmisted headlights with clear indicators.

Condition : The paintwork is pretty much perfect, looks absolutely stunning once on the roads, pictures REALLY don't do the car any justice whatsoever. The only faults with the paint is a few mm chip on the drivers front arch and the passenger mirror and skirts have an inch scratch mark on it. Really is in fantastic condition other than those very small marks.

Bad bits : The car is nearly 15 years old and obviously comes with faults but i am being as honest as possible. The idle control valve will need replacing as the engine shakes on idle, however the engine revs up perfectly and doesnt miss a beat, it really is an idle shake. Secondly, the roof is meant to be electric. I bought the car without it working, i havnt been bothered to see what is up with it yet and seen as its been 18 monhts kind of shows that it is a minor problem that isnt needed. I am guessing it just needs a new motor as everything is there and all the mechanical bits are in place. To lift the roof down manually it literally takes a few seconds. I admit it isnt as stylish as a button but at least it wont break on you and as far as i can tell, itl be a very easy fix to sort anyway.

Any viewing welcome, I have tried to be as honest as possible. I am not too bothered about selling, just fancy another project really. I have got a private plate on the car at the moment but will obviously be taking it off straight away and the original N reg be put back on. A small deposit will be required and the reg should be off within a week.

This truely is an amazing looking and put together car and for the money i doubt you'll find something that stands out as much for the summer months.

I know im going to regret selling it but with the very limited miles i do it would be nice for somebody else to enjoy it.

Again, i am in no rush to sell and the price is 3,800 but am open to any reasonable offers.
