Well, using a 1TB external hdd, I store alot of movies on and just plug that into the PS3 and off I go. I got a copy of avatar in 1080p bluray, but obviously 'cos of the file size it wouldn't go on the hdd cos of the fat32 format. So I converted it to NTFS...now just found out this piece of ****e ps3 doesn't support ntfs.

Anyway of converting it back, without loosing data? :(

You could use something like Partition Magic or I think Paragon's Hard Disk Manager will do it.

The most important thing to do is remove any files over 4Gb before you do it. Look at the file properties of any large file to get the real figure, you'll see it will say something like 3.9Gb (4,100,356,000 bytes) it's the figure in brackets that you need to check.

So even if i manage to convert it back to fat32, I won't be able to keep anything over 4gb? That sucks. :(
