View Full Version : Rear Arb Bolt size
Any idea what the bolt size is for each end of the arb, I can't locate the originals so though I'd buy some new bzp ones, also are the nuts plain type or nylocks?
Thanks in advance Graeme

nuts are plain with a thin washer. as for bolt i will try and check in a few mins when iv got spanners out. glad iv gone to check for you iv got brake fluid leaking down inside of wheel and tyre :(
13mm IIRC?
There plain nuts but Id put nylocks on anyway for the couple of pennys they cost.
Iirc there either 17mm or 19mm which means either m10 or m12, just wanted some to confirm for me please

M10 FINE so 1.25 pitch instead of 1.5 :thumb: 17mm heads and 30mm length
^nah im sure the bolt head size isnt that big?? (altho, in my defence Ive been nova'less since September lol)
Cheers Rich, I can live with standard pitch, just needed to know the thickness and length +rep

Stainless ARB bolts are pimpin. I had them on my disc beam.
Get some stainless dome headed bolts for the beam mounts too, you can see them through the arch... Nice touch!
What size are the beam mount ones Craig? Are you sure stainless is up to the job?
Stainless isn't as strong, wouldn't use them on the beam mount. ARB yes.
Agreed Benn I just wonder what Mr. Green had used
I have cap headed M10 on my rarb.
