Its quite easy drive with no clutch cable, definently not in traffic though.....

i din't i got a message saying, the caller your called is being gay and the signal keeps droping out lol
Theres something fcuked with my phone/network actually so it dont suprise me, the signal keeps dropping off and giving me emergency calls only

It doesnt crunch at all if you do it right.
Yeah, its basically playing with the engine and road speed until it just falls into gear.
I drove aboiut 25mile home without using the clutch once.
The only tricky part is pulling away because you have to start the engine in 1st gear. Luckily i only had to stop 2/3 times when mine went.

Basically yes, once youve figured out roughly where you need the revs to be in each gear it slips in quite easily, most boxes will do it with relative ease thanks to the synchro's.
The only bugger is if youre in traffic as you need to turn off the engine and bump start it in first on the starter to get moving lol
or do what any xe owner should do and keep one in the boot lol ,

Next time you have a courtsey or hire car give it a try, it pish easy, I've had to do it on truck at work when the slave cylinder stopped working, it was either wait 2 hours to be recovered or drive it back to the yard which took me 20 mins, the scania box actually allows you get 1st gear on tick over lol

She doesnt look happy when my nova breaks its usualy my dad thats fumin as he has to come get me i have it coverd by my insurance but i usualy ring my old man ha ha!

lol I snapped 5 cables in a year cause the hole went bent enough, even tho its ok now, i still keep a cable in my boot.
Benn, baxter is on a roll, he had managed to fit a whole engine & box properly, and the car looks quite tidy... let him fit a disk beam, at this rate, the badboi body kit will be fitted next week, then removed the week after cos its shyte, he is simply fast tracking nova ownership
