Fuel pump?????

Hi guys, i got a E16SE in my 1.2 car, but im still using the 1.2 fuel pump.
The problem is at around 4K in 3rd, 4th and 5th gears it seems to hold back!!! Would this be because of the 1.2 fuel pump not being able to cope with the demands of the engine????

is it on carbs?? or efi?

if on carbs, then it will cope, if on efi & it was 1.2 spi, then it needs a higher pressure pump from an astra 3 mpi

Yeah it was spi, and is now efi, so ill get a mk3 astra fuel pump cheers

is a mk3 astra spi pump better than what i have at the moment?
