EDS and a few other german tuners say 10w60 Castrol for a tuned let.
not sure of the type, but it's about 100 euro for 5ltr. it's the oem oil for a M3 iirc.

royal purple have tons of grades. its great oil but funk me is it expensive.


Matt you total tossbag, I know vaux dont make oil, but you can get silly cheap deals with them for the stuff :p

5/40 is too thin too lol I need 10/40 minimum

I've got 10/60 in the 2.2 at the moment from shell racing.. its supposed to be £60 for 5L here... I paid £40 for 20L lmao but cant get anymore that cheaps

10w40 gtx magnatec. £15 for 4 ltrs at the frauds with a trade card. change it and the filter evey 5k miles and it loosens up nicely. mr blydenstein told me that.:thumb:

Iv got oil from asda before it had loads of grit and metal in the bottom of the container lol

I used to run Asda's blue 10w40 in my Mondeo runaround as the piston rings were shot. Cheap cheap. lol

Meh, I use anything from 0w40 to 10w40 fully synth for all the 2 litres in the household. I find the 0w / 5w to quieten the engine on start up.
