When I phone my mates, I like to have a little chat, say what i was going to say and put the phone down.
Hayley is on the phone to her best mate. The call started at 6.15. At about 7.30 her arm got tired, so she put it on speakerphone. They are still going.
Current topic is what her mate is going to have for dinner tomorrow. Oh dear god please make it stop.

Lol im with you mate, i personally think its exceedingly ride when people get a phonecall and proceed to carry it on in front of you, or even turn down the tv/radio or whatever to carry it on.
Phones annoy me as you have to drop what youre doing to have a call, i muchly prefer to text people as its less intrusive:thumb:

Its the cackling I cant stand. One of them says something that is obviously only funny if you're a women, followed by a few mins of irritating cackling lol
Still going. In fact, im going to go and stick my head in the oven.
I made sure that when we got the Sky deal, I got my inclusive calls to landlines. I also get loads of free minutes from my mobile and just hate for them to get wasted. I could speak for ages. I just hate saying goodbyes :(

i hate being on the phone, both texting and phoning so mates tend to get pissed off cus i dont answer :S

Girl I knew in school got some ridiculous phone bill one month, i.e well into triple figures over £500 on an x hundred free minutes contract, because she'd sit and watch TV with her mate on the phone in the evenings... they lived within walking distance of each other, easily. lol
I can sit on the phone for a while when im bored :eek:

BOT: I used to be always on the house phone to my mates when I lived at home (before mobiles) and one month rigged up a £350 bill, to say may parents weren't happy is an understatement.
It's quite simple for me, I talk pish to anyone who listens but my brother puts me to shame, he could win a gold medal for it! He puts wimin to shame lol

my missus texts me with some right cobblers all the time, and it makes me have to ring her to work out what she actually means. then she's all high horse about how low the bill is for her mobile & mine is not

But living out here im glad i get free calls to all european landlines so i can call people for free.

my brother walks round when he's arguing on his mobile.. its the only exercise he gets, he does maybe 5 miles a day... he goes about 10mph when he's giving out a bollocking. we watch him doing laps of the farmyard from our office....

I was on the phone for 2 and a half hours the other day lol started of as ringing my mate because he has to get a mole removed that could potentially be cancerous, ended up as him telling me to youtube some really crap game that was out for the amiga and me turning the volume up while saying, check out the awesome music lol
the conversation was so long i had to cook my tea while on the phone, of course if there was someone else round i would have just rang at a different time
