They have no respect especially as it was a Nova I was giving them to look after. It was as if I had given them some sh1t on a stick! They were not bothered when they damaged my front panel aswell, they just said they had not noticed it. B0ll0cks, there was a bloody great V in the slam panel!!!
God knows what they treat Porsches & E types etc like

Not cool!

Considering they are the only place that currently caters for full cars I guess they think they can act how they want.

They'll end up looking pretty sorry for themselves when another company opens up that actually respects customers property!

If I needed a car stripping again I would probably go for soda blasting. Heard good things about the process.

Yes but less friction to cause warping to flat panels

similar process I think,

as for soda blasting, it does look good but it has the same problem as any blasting process, that is the fact it can't clean the bits you can't see, any cavities or inside or behind double skins are left untouched, don't think I'm saying it is a bad process as I've seen the results on stonework and it's a cracking alternative to media blasting.

A very good freind of mine was the director of SPL but he died last year. The bodyshop next to where i used to work used to etch prime all the shells

If there was corrosion present in seams I would rather cut out the metal and replace it.

I think the same when they media blast cars on Overhaulin. You will never get inside the box sections etc.

Chip Foose has a special tool for that!

that's the road I'm going down but when I'm finished I want to get it drowned in a big tank of primer to ensure it's well covered, and SP may be shoddy but they offer the job I'm looking for.
