All Novas are rare nowadays. Metallic paints were extra, so more cars were solid colours typically.

I wouldnt pay more because you think its rare however.

We had a silver GTE on as a demonstrator and for a while the owner of the dealership drove it..

He asked me to drive him to visit his dad in hospital one afternoon and gave me a right bollocking for NOT caning it all the way there!

"Drive the bloody thing!"

Think he palmed it off on his brother in law when he got bored with it...

Good luck shifting it if/when you get it. As thanks to this thread people now know you bought it as an earner. Nothing wrong with that, but some won't be happy. lol

Think there's a better than fair chance that silver one will no longer be with us..

Was an 89 F plater and. the brother in law also liked to ‘drive‘ his cars!

Think it was stolen at least once during the time he had it..

We had a few busy years late 80s/early 90s where all we seemed to do was replace columns, lock kits, stereos and alloys, etc..

I had a silver GTE and a Silver SR in the past. GTE was a dog. The SR i had i loved was totally mint, owned buy a Vaux mechanic before me. Some sh*tbag stole it and burned it out.

Don't see many silver ones now. Looked for one for a while before i bought my (common as muck) white one.
