There's a post up in the Scotland region about it but it's getting minimal interest

Anyone who's not a paid up member of the PNG going to this event ?

Reply back here if you are and if your going in a Nova would you be interested in coming onto the PNG stand if we can get one going

Cheers, Vaughan :)

Aye the Nova effort is a it poor this year up here as hardly any of us have them on the road so other rides are the name of the day. Showing the clubs diversity ofcourse :d

Heres another update from Total Vauxhalls Turbodave:
We're currently working hard to make this the biggest and best Total Vauxhall event at Crail yet, but ultimately it's you guys who make all the difference. Now's the time to get out from behind the computers, give the cars a quick once over and get along to what will be the only bespoke Vauxhall event in Scotland this year.

This year we'll be awarding prizes for the following...

BEST RETRO CAR

BEST STANDARD CAR

BEST MODIFIED CAR
First Place (Car of the Show)
2nd Place

BEST PRESENTED CLUB

BEST DRFT/HANDLING CIRCUIT DRIVER

TOTAL VAUXHALL QUARTER MILE SHOOTOUT

CLASS ONE
First Place
Second Place

CLASS TWO
First Place
Second Place

UNLIMITED
First Place
Second Place

In addition to a trophy marking their victory, the winner in each of the catagories will win an additional Vauxhall related prize whilst the Best Presented Club will also be further rewarded... but we can't say more than that at the momment. Watch this space...!

As the Lottery said... you have to be in it to win it!

Keep an eye on this thread for further updates as and when we get them

There's a place in Blackburn that hires for £35 to 45 a day, can't remember exactly the cost but round about that.

mine'll be far from perfect but i'm no really bothered, its no show car its for blasting down the lanes in. aslong as a get the snowplough back on so the whole bottom half is grey again I'll be happy. put my Oz wheels on tonight but still need to get my pal to put 45 profile tyres on the fronts to stop them rubbing. then its just a wash and vacuum and maybe fit a radio seeing as its a motorway journey. probably wont have time to fix the exhaust before then though.

vaughanmc
29-04-10, 11:55 AM

vaughanmc
29-04-10, 04:11 PM
You'll be doing well to get from Newcastle to Crail in...3 and a half hours lol

We'll meet just outside the Crail gates and organise things from there - Try and get all the Nova's together then the rest of the cars at the end of the line

I hope no-one shows up late in a Nova because theres no chance of everyone moving so all the Nova's are still together

Will be nice to meet you mate :)

won't be leaving mine till around that time I don't think cos I'll be out the night before. the roads are always dead at that time on a sunday anyway so if you're running late you can push on a bit to make up time.
