trim it in alcantara (done myself and hard because of complex curves)

or get it flocked by a company that does it.

thats pretty funky.

Any idea how much it costs and is there only certain materials you can use (centre console looks modded)?

centre console is the same

just where the casette holders go (have two sets for sale   )

hes fitted switches or something in there

thing that looks difrent is the radio sticks out rather than going in

yeah - just weirtd how the material stops just below the centre vents - looks like its been bolted on (also stereo "bulge" weird). Extra switched prob for LCD screen.

Nice mod. Nowt like the dash I'm dreaming up though.

Wouldnt mind it in black...

Not easy trimming a full dash in alcantara - only stretches in one direction easily !!

A better option would be to have the dash flocked like i did for Brett Warburtons nova

I think the car with the blue dash is the AudioBahn demo car, or something like that, it's a Nova van with a mad install, was featured in a few mags a while back.

You could trim a dash in vinal. It's got a little bit more flexability than some of the other fabrics. If you're not 100% sure you can do it, then get someone else to do it, that way you won't be kicking yourself if you mess it up.

mk2 dash is mainly covered in vynal at the moment.

You can buy it in roles - heat it with heat gun gently and it becomes really flexible and pliable - great for curves.

I'm looking at dash mods at the moment - consider this - a clear cast resin dash that you can see into - lit from behind with neon or other spot lights. Like those leccy gadgets you can see into - The Apple PC for example!

Well WEIRD! But a totally original mod - free to anyone who wants to give it a shot!

Good luck
