I use my nova every day its striped out so was looking at plastic windows, to go with the look and make it lighter, do u think there suitible on an every day car? or will it get to hot in the summer and to cold in winter?

far to unsafe on a road car, could be in the car quicker than a gypsy after copper !!!

i did also find that i was like trying to live in a green house !

imho if its just for "looks" and road use, I'd simply not bother

It's only really the fronts where you can immediately tell, if looks are your thing.

I had the rear three windows as polycarbs on my Nova when it was a daily, was ok, they looked quite standard. Only issue was a bit of flex, wouldn't want to open my windows above 50 as the rear flapped about.

Now it's not a daily I'm planning on fitting polycarbs all round. IMO the fronts are going to be almost as safe as glass from a security perspective, as you can't fit your hand through it and it's bolted in at the bottom:

Yeah, you have the 'road' versions. I bet some little scrote can still get their hand in though.

Would be funny if the Police ever tried to gain access with via baton. lol

hard to clean because they scratch easily, think they steam up worse than glass too and will be like a greenhouse in summer. Don't do it!!

depends what you class as a daily driver, a few minutes to work and back, leave in secure place and out and about on the odd night/weekend then yea, but long distance traveling everyday and always out in it with no secure place then i wouldn't.

No point IMO unless its an out & out track/competition car.

If you still have the heater blower in, it works surprisingly well to cool the car down, electric windows gave up on mine for a week or 2 recently, and I found the blowers on cold whacked up full worked better than opening the window once you gave em chance to get some cold air in. Probably wont work if you've cut your firewall out though

Is it really worth spending on poly carbs for a 1.2 nova? you wont really notice a change in speed or anything... and if your worried about weight... take a nice big poo before you go out in the nova. simples lol

miho you need a bit of weight in the back of a stripped car anway ;)
