Ive woke up this morning thinking that ive read this somewhere on here or someone said it to me....

is there anyway to make the rear q windows pop open? just like the pop up sunroof does, but with the windows in the rear?

i may have just been dreaming this, but im sure i read it...

it was an option on the early nova's. uber rare though.

that's why there are holes in the inside of the B pillar ;)

ahh "/ has anyone got it fitted into their car? if so any pics?

and how rare are these to get?
++ with the window coming open what happens with the rubbers that goes round? i take it you need a new set with the adaptions for it?

You need a new set, and if you can get the whole shebang the glass is tinted bronze and the rubbers are brown iirc.

Jason Hudsons GSI from years ago was the first i seen fitted.

You get new seals and diffrent glass with holes drilled.

Option of clear or bronze glass, the rubbers are black.

Pricey. Buy on of these and they come popped out the box. You can buy a full one for what you would pay for opening quarters for a Nova lol

i dont see the diffrence in the windows apart from the tint.
would it be hard to make a set yourself do you reckon?
i know people with the right machinery etc to make them but i dont know how it works...
+id prefer to do it with an electric motor out of a kia sedona...

ty for link novaload.
lookin at the pictures, are the seals only securing the glass from the inside rather than the out?
and then where then hinges are needed to allow the glass to move out of the angle its at to the angle the window opens to?
i think so anyway "/ may be wrong...
